Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Sociology, Københavns Universitet (KU). This position involves conducting qualitative fieldwork and social scientific analysis as part of the project 'The crisis of habits and new figurations of food'.

About the Project
The project explores the provisioning of meals across generations and how different degrees of plasticity in food habits can inform a theoretical reconfiguration of habits. The successful candidate will work closely with the principal investigator and other project members to design and implement the research plan.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting qualitative fieldwork in Denmark among empty nesters to investigate resistance to changing food habits
- Analyzing data using social scientific methods
- Disseminating research findings for broad audiences

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in sociology or anthropology (or related field) and proficiency in qualitative data collection. Experience in ethnographic fieldwork and disseminating research findings for broad audiences is highly valued. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
