Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist to lead our Business Line in the Life and Pension industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive growth and success by delivering exceptional value and impact for our customers. As a key member of our Product Leadership Team, you will be responsible for maintaining close dialogue with customers, building products with high customer impact, and creating value-adding product roadmaps.

You will oversee a diverse portfolio, including flagship products such as Pension Contribution and advanced pay-out systems. Your mission is to own the PAYMENTS product portfolio, ensuring growth and a healthy Profit & Loss, while making portfolio decisions and prioritizations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain close dialogue with customers to ensure we are building products with the highest customer impact.
  • Sustain and contribute to Edlund's overall product strategy as part of the Product Leadership team.
  • Lead Product Owners, providing strategic guidance and building a strong team culture.
  • Owning the PAYMENTS product portfolio, ensuring growth and a healthy Profit & Loss.
  • Work closely with other Business Line managers to achieve Edlund's overall short- and long-term goals.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for uncovering and delivering customer value, a flair for leadership, and a knack for strategic thinking. A proud professional who strives for excellence within their field and has a strong passion for learning and teaching is ideal for this role.

A team player who understands that shared goals come first, eager to contribute to and build Edlund's work culture. Skilled at stakeholder management at both junior and senior levels, preferably with leadership experience and people management experience.

Preferred Experiences and Competencies

We are looking to find the right candidate for the role and understand that many paths could lead to a strong candidate. A relevant educational background, e.g., a university degree, and fluency in English and Danish are prerequisites. Knowledge of modular and/or cloud/SaaS-based products, financial sector knowledge, preferably in the Life & Pension industry, including PAYMENTS, and knowledge of agile software development are desirable.
