We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research position in Advanced characterization of sorbents for small-scale carbon capture. As a member of our research team, you will play a key role in developing novel sorbent materials for post-combustion carbon capture.

The successful candidate will join our interdisciplinary team at DTU Energy Conversion and Storage, working closely with researchers from various departments. You will be supervised by Associate Professor Andreas Kaiser at DTU Energy and Satish Kumar at Welltec, who will provide guidance and support throughout the project.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and synthesize novel sorbent materials.
  • Characterize the sorbents using advanced analytical techniques.
  • Evaluate the performance of the sorbents in a thermal swing adsorption process.
About the Project:

This project is funded by an EUDP grant and focuses on developing solid sorbents for thermal swing adsorption (TSA) processes. Your contributions will help advance the field of CCU and mitigate climate change.
