We are seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Scientist to join our research team at DTU Energy Conversion and Storage. As a Postdoc in Advanced characterization of sorbents for small-scale carbon capture, you will contribute to the development of novel sorbent materials for post-combustion carbon capture.

This project is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge research in the field of carbon capture and utilization (CCU) while collaborating with industry partners and academics abroad. You will be part of the Section for Applied Ceramics and Processing and work closely with Associate Professor Andreas Kaiser at DTU Energy and Satish Kumar at Welltec.

Main Tasks:
  1. Develop new sorbent materials through experimental design and synthesis.
  2. Characterize the sorbents using advanced analytical techniques.
  3. Evaluate the performance of the sorbents in a thermal swing adsorption process.
