Aquaporin A/S is a pioneering water technology company that leverages biotechnology to enhance the efficiency of water treatment and concentration processes. We are seeking an experienced Senior Food and Beverage Engineer with expertise in membrane filtration technology to join our Commercial Engineering Forward Osmosis department.
About the Role:- You will be responsible for integrating Forward Osmosis (FO) technology into food and beverage applications, advancing process and system development, and ensuring Point-of-Use (PoU) system performance through stress testing.
- You will also support the Product Development team by conducting internal tests to validate product performance against standard protocols and occasionally performing Quality Control (QC) tests on returned modules.
- Your technical expertise will be essential in understanding membrane-based processes and creating technical documentation for internal and external use, including datasheets, manuals, tutorials, and presentations.
- You will serve as the first point of contact for collaborating partners or assigned key accounts, reviewing customer specifications and requirements, communicating test results, recommendations, and risks, and actively participating in customer meetings and site visits.
- A Master's degree in Food and Beverage Engineering and/or Process Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in membrane separation, characterization, and application in water treatment processes, with hands-on industry experience and knowledge of industrial standards and procedures within the field of membranes.
- Knowledge about forward osmosis is considered an advantage, and experience in the design and engineering of membrane filtration processes is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills in water and food & beverage chemistry, with excellent communication skills, proficiency in written and spoken English, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately 110,000 DKK per year, based on industry standards and location.
