Automation Engineer

At Makeen Energy A/S, we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to bridge process descriptions and software development for Plastcon, a plastic waste recycling technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain design work documentation to ensure seamless collaboration among teams.
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to drive innovation and efficiency in our processes.
  • Investigate and implement control solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Interface with software engineers to integrate automation systems.
  • Maintain programming specifications to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Participate in process control and optimization initiatives.
  • Support on-site software implementation to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • A background in automation with a strong foundation in process control.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the process industry, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • ERP system experience to drive business efficiency.
  • Familiarity with network and high-level controls to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with external partners to drive project success.
