About the Role:

At Nordea, we are seeking an experienced Lead Data/IT Analyst to strengthen our team. As a key member, you will engage with various stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in data modelling principles, requirement elicitation, and software development. Your primary responsibilities will focus on consolidating and harmonizing payments data, sourcing, storage, and distribution to other solutions. Additionally, you will design, build, and maintain near real-time data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Nordea's target payment architecture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contributing to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications
  • Designing, building, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines
  • Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
  • Data mapping, data modelling, solution design, and working with Information architects
  • Performing quantitative data analysis to understand identified issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborating with developers and engineers to properly document designs and solutions
  • Eliciting requirements by co-operating with different stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Responsibility for requirements documentation (inc. use cases) and quality improvement

Requirements:
  • Expert in data modelling principles, data architectures, and integration patterns
  • Expert in requirement elicitation/analysis
  • Expert in SQL (Oracle, MSSQL or similar RDBMS)
  • Experience in one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google)
  • Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain (ISO20022 standard, SEPA, and Swift messages)
  • Hands-on knowledge of practices like Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit, as well as experience building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications
  • Degree in computer science and engineering, mathematical modelling, or similar
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and familiarity with international collaboration with different stakeholder groups
