Job Description:

Nordea is looking for a skilled Lead Data/IT Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines that support our target payment architecture. You will also contribute to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications, interacting with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements. Your primary focus will be on consolidating and harmonizing payments data, sourcing, storage, and distribution to other solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications
  • Design, build, and maintain near real-time data pipelines
  • Interact with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
  • Data mapping, data modelling, solution design, and working with information architects
  • Perform quantitative data analysis to understand identified issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to properly document designs and solutions
  • Elicit requirements by co-operating with different stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Responsibility for requirements documentation (inc. use cases) and quality improvement

Required Skills:
  • Expert in data modelling principles, data architectures, and integration patterns
  • Expert in requirement elicitation/analysis
  • Expert in SQL (Oracle, MSSQL or similar RDBMS)
  • Experience in one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google)
  • Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain (ISO20022 standard, SEPA, and Swift messages)
  • Hands-on knowledge of practices like Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit, as well as experience building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications
  • Degree in computer science and engineering, mathematical modelling, or similar
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and familiarity with international collaboration with different stakeholder groups
