About the Job

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Gas Trader to join our client's Energy team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and complying with risk exposure, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market, refining and developing trading strategies, and analyzing trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.

Responsibilities
  1. Focus on proprietary gas trading across the long-term curve.
  2. Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.

The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of international Gas fundamentals, an analytical mindset, and strong ability to navigate the markets. A macro trading background is required.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant proprietary gas trading experience.
  • Master's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.

The role reports into the Director of Gas Trading and offers a unique opportunity to work with a market-leading Danish Commodities Trading House.
