About the Role

Genmab is seeking a Clinical Director for Cancer Therapy to join our Trial Strategy and Delivery department.

This role involves managing a team of Clinical Trial Associates (CTAs) and reporting to the Head of Trial Management. As a Clinical Director, you will work closely with Global Clinical Trial Managers (GCTMs), Clinical Project Leads (CPLs), and other Clinical Trial Team (CTT) members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of CTAs
  • Support and provide direction to CTAs on their key responsibilities and activities
  • Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing and upcoming clinical trials
  • Develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs to equip CTAs with necessary knowledge and skills
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to CTAs to support their development and career progression
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the entire CTA team, implementing strategies to maintain consistency and uphold high standards across all CTAs
  • Lead or actively contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and support CTAs for audits and inspections, ensuring inspection readiness of clinical trial documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree within life science or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare industry
  • At least 2 years of management experience in industry settings, preferably in pharma/biotech industry
  • Experience managing teams in supervisory/leadership capacity
  • Experience required in clinical trial administrative and support activities performed throughout all trial stages, including experience with Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF)
  • Prior experience as a team leader is preferred

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
