Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Department of Neuroscience, Panum Institute. As a key member of our group, you will contribute to ongoing projects investigating neurodevelopmental delays and epilepsy using live cell imaging techniques.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our international team, collaborating on cutting-edge research that aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying these complex diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct live cell microscopy experiments using fluorescent reporters
  • Analyze imaging data to identify aberrant circuit activity associated with neurodevelopmental mutations
  • Develop and implement new image analysis algorithms to improve data quality

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD in Natural or Medical Science
  • Experience with cell culture methods and fluorescence microscopy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and spoken
