Academic Leader in Protein Science

About the Role
We are recruiting a tenure-track assistant or associate professor in biomolecular sciences to join our faculty at the University of Copenhagen. As a member of our department, you will contribute to our mission of advancing knowledge and promoting innovation in the life sciences.
Main Duties
- Conduct original and innovative research in biomolecular sciences, with a focus on protein science
- Teach and develop curricula in biochemistry and protein science at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Supervise students and postdoctoral researchers in laboratory settings
- Participate in departmental service and contribute to the development of new research initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong track record of research productivity, including publications in high-impact journals and experience securing external funding.
Assessment Process
Applications will be assessed based on the applicant's research productivity, teaching experience, and ability to secure external funding. Candidates will be invited to interview and present their research plans to the faculty.
