About the Project:
AI-UNI is a collaborative research project that brings together experts from various fields to explore the impact of text-generative AI on academic practices and knowledge production. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role of language technologies in shaping our understanding of literacy and voice in sociolinguistics. As a PhD scholar, you will be part of this dynamic research team and contribute to the development of novel methodologies and theories in the field.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and conduct a linguistic ethnographic case study on the use of text-generative AI in research practices in the humanities or social sciences
* Develop a comprehensive research proposal outlining methodology, theoretical framework, and timeline for completion
* Participate in regular meetings and workshops with the research team to discuss project progress and share findings

**Desirable Qualifications:**
* Experience in linguistic ethnography or related methods
* Strong analytical and writing skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a research team
