Research Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD scholar to contribute to our ongoing research project, AI-UNI. This five-year collaborative project aims to explore the impact of text-generative AI on academic practices and knowledge production. As a PhD scholar, you will be part of a dynamic research team that seeks to understand how language technologies shape our understanding of literacy and voice in sociolinguistics.

**Job Description:**
The successful candidate will design and conduct a linguistic ethnographic case study focusing on the use of text-generative AI in research practices in the humanities or social sciences. You will be expected to develop a comprehensive research proposal outlining your methodology, theoretical framework, and timeline for completion. The PhD project should critically assess the implications of text-generative AI on research practices and contribute to the overall understanding of sociolinguistic change.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* A 2-year Master's degree (120 ECTS or equivalent) in sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, applied linguistics, or related fields
* Advanced analytical skills and strong communication abilities in English
* Collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a close-knit research team
* Knowledge of Danish or another Scandinavian language is preferable but not mandatory

**Assessment Criteria:**
* Quality, originality, and feasibility of the proposed PhD project
* Relevance of the PhD project for the host project
* Research qualifications and competencies of the applicant
