We seek a highly skilled researcher with expertise in geoinformatics, particularly in GIS and remote sensing, to join our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

The researcher will work on a 2-year project focused on urban expansion and associated conversion of natural areas within African cities, aiming to identify and promote more sustainable trajectories of urban expansion.

The researcher will collaborate with the PI and PhD student, conducting independent research and contributing to the discussion on policies and planning for ecologically sensitive areas.

The successful candidate should have a strong track record of academic publications, proficiency in remote sensing and GIS-based methodologies, and an interest in collaborative research.
