Senior Research Scientist in Microbial Systems Engineering

We are seeking an ambitious postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary research project between the Center for Biosustainability at Technical University of Denmark and a consortium of academic partners across the EU. In this collaborative effort, our goal is to establish engineering pipelines for constructing marine yeast cell factories.
The successful candidate will be key responsible for leading the following efforts:
- Developing and applying synthetic biology tools to accelerate cell factory development.
- Coordinating data sharing and hypothesis testing with collaborators.
- Publishing impactful scientific papers.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold a PhD degree within synthetic biology, biotechnology, or related fields. A strong scientific track record with international publications in yeast synthetic biology is essential.
- Extensive experience working with yeast biosensors.
- Experience in constructing and testing yeast cell factories.
- Excellent collaboration skills and enthusiasm for generating high-quality data.
- Strong oral and written skills in English.
