At Sitly, we're seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our family as a childcare assistant.

Company Overview

Our family of four is looking for someone to help with our two sons, ages 3 and 1, while I am working on my doctorate. We value a close-knit household and strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

As a bilingual household, speaking both English and Danish fluently is essential. Our children speak both languages, and multilingualism is important to us. We're open to teaching other languages as well, as it would enable the boys to make new friends through language learning.

Job Description

We are seeking someone who can assist with daily childcare tasks, including playing, reading, and engaging in conversations with the children. The ideal candidate should be able to work between 5pm - 9pm and be flexible with their schedule.

The role involves:

  • Playing and engaging with the children
  • Reading and storytelling
  • Participating in conversations and encouraging language development
  • Assisting with laundry, room organization, and cleaning/tidying
  • Occasionally helping with cooking or grocery shopping
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a kind demeanor. Experience working with children is necessary, especially those who can engage in bilingual activities. A non-smoking environment is essential, as we have young children.
