Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our Finance & IT functions as a Strategic Finance and IT Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring transparent reporting and efficient operations.

As part of C&D Foods' future ambitions, we are looking for a strategic and driven leader who will play a central role in shaping our future and contribute to our ongoing success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage day-to-day Finance and Accounting functions, ensuring smooth and timely execution of accounting processes and reports.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of monthly accounts and year-end statutory submissions, including managing audits.
  • Prepare and present the annual divisional budget, along with profit analysis.
  • Handle payroll, VAT, and other statutory submissions.
  • Cost Management and Analysis.
  • Monitor actual performance, profitability, and conduct variance analyses.
  • Continuously review and enhance internal controls and procedures.
  • Manage internal audits and ensure compliance with financial standards.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Site Accountants to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage the Site IT team and initialize new initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience and expertise within accounting, controlling, and/or auditing, ideally in an international group setup.

The ideal candidate should possess the majority of the following qualifications:

  • A relevant education within finance and accounting.
  • Strong IT skills – experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence to engage with and challenge stakeholders across various levels.
  • Familiarity with production companies is essential, while knowledge of the food production industry is an advantage.
  • Leadership experience is an advantage but your people skills and cultural fit are key.

You have an outgoing and proactive personality with the ability to challenge and support teams and stakeholders constructively. As a leader, you value input from employees and can balance diverse perspectives effectively.
