Nordic Sugar is committed to reducing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices throughout the food and beverage sector. As part of our 2030 Sustainability Strategy, we are seeking a skilled Sustainability Reporting Specialist to support our efforts in corporate sustainability reporting and science-based target initiatives.

As a key member of our Sustainability team, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including operations and supply chain, to help us track our progress towards our sustainability goals. You will also work closely with diverse departments across several countries to implement our sustainability strategy and support projects aimed at reducing our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data collection and analysis for Scope 1, 2, and 3 according to Greenhouse Gas Protocol
  • Gathering and analyzing sustainability data from diverse sources
  • Updating our Product Carbon Footprint
  • Supporting public reporting through questionnaires, such as CDP and EcoVadis
  • Developing internal and external reporting processes
  • Collaborating with customers to reduce supply chain emissions

Requirements:

  • A relevant academic background in sustainability management, engineering, or a comparable field
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in LCA software an advantage
  • Familiarity with emission factor databases and ability to stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English, with German language capability an asset
