About the Position

The successful candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience in conduct, sustainability, and regulatory risk categories, supported by a relevant university degree or similar educational background. You may be an experienced risk professional from the finance industry or have been involved in governance, regulatory, or legal processes within banking. Your understanding of financial products and processes, combined with risk management principles, will align our objectives with business needs.

  1. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in non-financial risk, focusing on conduct, sustainability, and regulatory risk.
  2. In-depth business understanding and documented leadership experience, with an emphasis on purposeful leadership.
  3. Capable communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, along with gravitas and influencing abilities.
  4. Flexibility, initiative, and a growth mindset, with decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment.


Your Responsibilities

As the Leader of Regulatory Risk Testing, your key responsibilities include:
  1. Identify key controls from inputs by regulators, Business Units, and Risk partners for inclusion in a yearly Book-of-Testing (BOT).
  2. Review and enhance regular testing activities, including improving governing documents and methodology.
  3. Collaborate with other Testing teams and Risk Partner teams for control uplift and gap assessments.
  4. Ensure widespread use of control taxonomy within our function and reporting.
