At PARETO SECURITIES AS, we are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and at least 10 years of experience in a similar role within regulated financial institutions.

This position involves developing, directing, and managing the Operational Risk Framework across the entirety of the Bank, ensuring effective anticipation, identification, measurement, control, and management of operational risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the framework, interacting with Senior Management and Regulators, and advancing operational risk appetite limits.

The Risk Management Director will also be responsible for regulatory reporting of major incidents, participating in and managing projects to drive business development, and maintaining good understanding of relevant legal and regulatory developments. Additionally, they will promote a company-wide risk culture, ensuring first-line ownership and accountability for risk management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organisational skills, with a proven track record of experience from leading and developing a successful operational risk function. They will have extensive knowledge of risk measurement systems and concepts, as well as establishing relevant Risk and Internal Control Frameworks.
