Financial Accountant Role at PVH

At PVH, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in the Region North business. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing accurate, timely, and reliable financial information to support our strategic direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) to review and analyse sales and margin results, ensuring complete and accurate data.
  • Prepare schedules to calculate monthly charges for prepayments and rental costs, and reconcile closing balances to the general ledger.
  • Take raw data from external payroll providers and prepare journals for posting to the correct cost centres and expense lines.
  • Enter new leases into the Costar system and ensure leases are properly maintained.
  • Prepare calculations and journals to release landlord contributions and rent-free periods, and maintain deferred rent schedules.
  • Assess the need for accruals for missing Opex costs each month and prepare resulting monthly accrual journals.
  • Respond to Profit & Loss (P&L) queries from key stakeholders, review P&L statements, and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Prepare year-end audit packs and liaise with External Auditors.
  • Support the Financial Controller with preparation of statutory accounts and tax disclosures.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Experience in creating reports, performing financial analysis, financial KPIs, and profit and loss statements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of accounting and retail systems (SAP, GK POS).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • Commercially astute and a confident decision maker, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with change and adapt quickly to new situations.
