Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering 1st and 2nd level technical support to onshore employees, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency. You will also collaborate with other IT team members to work on IT projects and implement new solutions.

Your main tasks include:

  • Resolving tickets in the ticket system and implementing effective solutions
  • Configuring and setting up new computers and mobile devices for employees
  • Participating in IT projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and procedures in the ticket system
  • Coordinating with IT suppliers related to services, subscriptions, and similar
  • Administering daily purchasing and invoicing related to IT equipment and services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in IT support or other relevant position in an IT department
  • Proficiency in systems and applications like the ticket system Fresh Service, Aruba Central, and PRTG
  • Hands-on experience with general IT hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with ITGC (IT general controls) related to SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act)
  • Experience from the maritime sector and vessel systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English
