Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Project Manager to join our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. As an expert in wind turbine electrical systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping service deliverables and supporting project development across all stages.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to shape the future of clean energy technology and drive sustainable solutions in the global energy sector. Our diverse assignments involve working with established and new market players, joint ventures, and investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead working packages for wind turbine scopes, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on wind turbine electrical systems, supporting clients in developing winning strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
  • Deliver technical due diligence assignments in support of large and complex finance transitions, taking responsibility over the wind turbine scope.
  • Manage package interfaces, programme, risk, and change management processes within Owner's Engineer service deliveries.
  • C Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
  • Support standardisation processes and initiatives across the Offshore Wind Advisory Team, aiming to develop and improve standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the wind turbine scope in international projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in wind projects, with wind turbine electrical system design, installation, and commissioning experience being an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation within a project developer organisation or in an Owner's Engineer role.
  • Profound industry knowledge and understanding of design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage timelines.
  • Experience in negotiating complex construction contracts would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with offshore construction projects.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
