About the Job

  • Owning and leading month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with other departments
  • Overseeing payroll reconciliations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Optimizing and automating bookkeeping and accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • VAT and tax reporting in our subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports and annual accounts
  • Providing support to the remaining finance team during vacation and peak periods
  • Undertaking ad-hoc financial tasks as required

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience in controlling, preferably in an international environment
  • Relevant educational background in finance, such as a Cand.merc., HD/R or similar degree
  • Deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including VAT and tax laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Self-driven and results-focused, with a willingness to take ownership and initiative
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions
