Information Technology Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Operations Lead to join our team at Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg, Denmark.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the IT System Management and Operations team, ensuring operational excellence and driving continuous improvement across our production facilities.
Main Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Manage a team of IT professionals within people and business processes, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Operational Performance: Ensure quality, delivery, cost, environment, health & safety performance meets company standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Introduce new technology, share best practices, and implement change management initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Site-Specific Strategies: Develop and anchor site-specific strategies within your team and plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Goal Setting and Feedback: Set goals for your team, provide performance feedback, and ensure clear communication with employees and stakeholders.
- IT Systems and Budget Management: Oversee local IT systems and budget to ensure efficient operations of production facilities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with current and future GxP standards and external requirements.
- An academic background in engineering, pharma, IT, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in both Danish and English.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing IT systems (MES – Manufacturing Execution System, DCS – Distributed Control Systems and PLC systems) and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with GxP standards, regulatory requirements, and experience in budget management.
