Job Overview
The Business Support Director will lead a department of approximately 65 employees, divided into 4 teams, as part of our new production area PPV. This role is responsible for building a highly effective and efficient business support function, leading leaders, and developing the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: The Business Support Director will oversee the development and growth of a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
- Develop Operational Excellence Objectives: In close collaboration with leaders and experts, the Director will establish operational excellence objectives and monitor their progress, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
- Represent Business Support Across the Organization: The Director will represent the Business Support area across the organization, following up on actions, preparing presentations, and driving day-to-day activities.
Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, providing executive business support to senior leaders, and managing teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and pharmaceutical industry requirements, with experience in financial planning, reporting, and performance management.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Educational Background: An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
