The position requires a background in IT procurement with experience negotiating software contracts and understanding commercial and legal risks. You should have experience with category management, including guiding cross-functional teams and large complex suppliers. A good theoretical background in procurement, finance, or supply chain is also essential.
As a skilled negotiator, you will lead global software negotiations, set direction, and plan execution. Your goal will be to ensure Vestas maximizes value and savings from supplier collaborations. Additionally, you will foster world-class supplier collaboration and effective category structures.
Key responsibilities include:
