Renewable Energy Leader

As a Renewable Energy Leader - QHSE Director for Solar, Wind, and PtX Projects, you will play a key role in shaping our quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) strategy.
This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to lead a skilled team of QHSE Specialists and set the direction for QHSE in European Energy's future. You will be responsible for implementing new processes and systems, developing a long-term quality assurance strategy, and ensuring compliance with international, national, and local laws and industrial best practices.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading QHSE initiatives, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in similar roles. A relevant educational background in fields such as engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental science, or similar is also required. Additionally, experience from a similar role in the renewable energy sector and holding a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent are highly valued.
You will be part of a diverse department that covers risk management, insurance, claims, and contingency/emergency response strategies. As a cross-functional department, you will work closely with various stakeholders across all departments and countries, at all levels within European Energy. The QHSE team consists of four colleagues, located across three locations in Denmark, and you will have the opportunity to grow your leadership skills as the team expands.
The salary for this position is approximately €120,000 per year, based on the location in Copenhagen, Denmark. - Representing European Energy A/S in customer interactions, ensuring understanding of expectations.
- Taking ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities.
- Establishing and overseeing Quality Management Systems on a global basis.
- Insuring a positive HSE culture and providing comprehensive reporting to management.
- Supporting key stakeholders in project activities, ensuring legislation adherence.
- Developing robust Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Preventing non-conformances, customer complaints, and rework by implementing corrective actions.
