Job Description

The Governmental Public Affairs & Communications Head is a key role in shaping Merck's relationships with government entities and managing public policy matters and communication in Denmark. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing the Governmental Public Affairs & Communications strategy and action plan.
  • Driving Merck to be a relevant partner and member of the community amongst external stakeholder groups.
  • Implementing company communication strategy by HQ guidance.
  • Supporting the external impact of the General Manager and Medical Director on shaping business-critical policy.
  • Supporting overall commercialisation by giving input to the local Medical and Marketing Strategy and activities.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Adapting and/or developing the brands' value propositions in line with HQ guidance and communicating this to target Danish Payor and Policy stakeholders.
  2. Being an advisor and relevant Payor and Healthcare policy environment member.
