About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Machine Learning Software Engineer to help redefine LEGO Play Software Technology for better decision-making. As a key member of the Play AI team, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of LEGO Play experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient algorithms for real-time processing of sensor data, leveraging your expertise in C/C++ and Python.
  • Develop and implement Machine Learning algorithms for embedded systems, including microcontrollers and System-on-Chips, to drive innovation in the next generation of Play.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement optimised software for low-power embedded systems, ensuring high coding standards, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Machine Learning and embedded systems technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, with extensive experience on embedded products and Machine Learning applications.
  • Hands-on experience building Machine Learning models in production environments, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with microcontroller architectures and programming, as well as software design, implementation, debugging, and profiling.
  • Experience with common software development tools and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Preferably M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
