Your Role
As a Senior Process Engineer at DIS, you will play a significant role in developing our business by leading small and large development projects, implementing project solutions in close dialogue with customers across multiple industries, and driving process design for manufacturing and process facilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify concept and detailed solutions for process design
- Lead a team of process engineers and support them in all aspects of the process design
- Develop and implement process solutions based on customer specifications and requirements
- Design and review P&ID diagrams, technical descriptions, and equipment selections
- Perform process & hydraulic calculations
- Draft and review specification of process equipment and evaluate vendor proposals
- Take process responsibility for control strategy and commissioning of process utilities
- Apply good engineering principles and process safety principles in system design
- Perform on-site inspections of designed systems
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in the chemical/process plant engineering industry
- Knowledge of I&C equipment
- Practical knowledge of ATEX (optional)
- Experience in pneumatic transport issues (optional)
- Hydrogen and/or Life Science industry related experience (optional)
- Knowledge of Pipe Flow Software, Microsoft Visio, and Engineering Base (Aucotec AG) (optional)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
