About the Position
DIS Copenhagen is seeking an external lecturer to teach Differential and Integral Calculus. The course begins in August, with preparation expected in spring or summer. This is a part-time faculty position teaching 23 lectures and 2 Field Studies per term.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop a structured learning environment incorporating DIS' interactive and hands-on teaching philosophy.
- Teach classroom lectures, discussions, active learning activities, experiential learning activities, and Field Studies.
- Assess students' performance and provide feedback throughout the course.
Professional Competencies
- A relevant background and expertise within the field of calculus.
- Candidate should be open to pedagogical support from DIS and capable of incorporating their teaching philosophy into practice.
