Job Description:
At Lundbeck, we are passionate about developing innovative treatments for brain diseases. As a Preformulation Scientist/Specialist, you will be part of our Pharmaceutical Development team, working closely with colleagues in research, non-clinical safety, and clinical pharmacology.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Take scientific lead on early phase preformulation development activities, establishing physicochemical knowledge and developability assessments.
  • Lead preformulation experiments in internal or external labs.
  • Develop dose formulations for non-clinical studies in collaboration with cross-organizational teams.
  • Ensure a strong link between preformulation and human formulation development.

Requirements:
  • A PhD or MSc within pharmaceutical science, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent understanding and proven scientific skills in preformulation or early phase pharmaceutical development.
  • Experience in biopharmacy and understanding the link between preclinical data, clinical data, and formulations is an advantage.
