Biogas Laboratory Specialist

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Co. is seeking a Biogas Laboratory Specialist

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC), a service provider for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, is looking for a Biogas Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Tønder, Denmark.

About the Role:

We are currently constructing Tønder Biogas, a facility expected to be fully operational in the first half of 2025. The plant will process over 900,000 tons of biomass, producing 40 million Nm3 of biomethane and 48,000 tons of green CO2.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct TS and BMP measurements of incoming feedstock
• Systematically sample new products
• Develop an understanding of the biogas plant's biological processes
• Document and report laboratory results
• Calibrate measuring equipment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for on-site analyses

Main Stakeholders:

• Feedstock Manager

About You:

You will be a diligent professional with a focus on details and analytical skills. Experience as a laboratory technician or bioanalyst is preferred, but not necessary if you have equivalent experience or education.

Required Qualifications:

• Hold a qualification as a laboratory technician, bioanalyst, or similar
• Be self-motivated and responsible for your work and growth
• Have a strong interest in data and systematic approaches
• Live within a reasonable distance from the facility

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
