Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and driven Investment Analyst/Associate to join our team. As a key player in our investment sourcing and screening process, you will work closely with our network of partners to assess investment opportunities, represent BlackWood at tech events, and identify and contact top startups through inbound and outbound deal flow.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct due diligence to build conviction on potential deals and prepare presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Continuously improve our framework for working with start-ups and partners.
- Represent BlackWood and develop our network at various tech events.
- Work closely with our CEO, Investment Committee, and other Investment Associates on our investment strategy and expansion efforts.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in venture capital, startups, or related fields.
- Entrepreneurial flair and a drive to be the best.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Structured and process-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Curious and business-minded, with a passion for working with numbers and data.
- Fluent in English, with another European language a plus.
