Procurement Specialist for Textiles

Join our team at Trademark Textiles as a Buyer of Textiles in our German team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced procurement professional to join our team in Germany. As a Buyer of Textiles, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality textiles for our selected customers and developing our supply chain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure contractual security and risk management of the supply chain for selected customers.
• Implement international negotiations and troubleshooting independently.
• Manage suppliers and develop our supply chain in accordance with strategic goals from the team.
• Develop products from initial ideas to final products.
• Coordinate production in all aspects, including negotiations, certifications, planning, quality assurance, shipping, and invoicing.
• Sourcing new primary suppliers as well as evaluating Tier 2 suppliers.

Your Profile:

• You can communicate fluently in English and German, both written and oral.
• Have a relevant academic degree, Bachelor level or higher preferably in Business and/or Fashion.
• Previous work experience (+1 years) within procurement, not limited to textiles.
• International experience during your past work, studies, or travels abroad is a positive addition.
• Good economic understanding, a flair for numbers and calculations, and more than basic experience with Excel.
• Expected travel of days per year.
• Ability to be a team player and work in a highly competitive industry.
