Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Plant Aalborg. As an HSE Specialist with a focus on technical environmental management, you will ensure our facility complies with all relevant environmental legislation.
The role involves:
- Maintaining and updating environmental permits;
- Preparing and submitting reports to authorities and internal stakeholders;
- Ensuring compliance with Danish environmental legislation;
In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be involved in:
- Implementing new requirements related to compliance with the Seveso directive;
- Assisting in the management of the safety system of the plant;
- Participating in environmental risk assessments and optimization of procedures;
- Performing VOC-emission calculations;
- Coordinating external noise measurement analysis;
- Managing relationships with external consultants as needed;
- Creating and updating internal system documents (according to ISO 14001);
- Performing self-assessments and generating ad-hoc reports;
- Communicating and collaborating with the local municipality and production stakeholders;
- Providing training on environmental and sustainability practices;
- Supporting production teams in selecting environmentally conscious solutions;
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change. You should have a relevant educational background in technical environmental management and some years of practical experience in a similar role.
