Leading the Energy Transformation as a Certification Technical Project Manager

Our Onshore Product Integration team is reporting to the Head of the Platform. The Platform owns the end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management, provisioning product design and development of turbines, Product Certification, Configuration, Performance, and Cost.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing the product roadmap and design specification and deploying certification strategy for the platform baseline products (and their variants).
  • Defining and executing Certification Plans, interfacing with design teams (and certification bodies where applicable).
  • Securing Certificates within the defined project requirements (e.g., cost, time, quality, functionality).
  • Ensuring that the product complies with regional requirements as specified in the Product Design Specification.
  • Aligning and documenting certification deliverables as specified.

To contribute to our vision, we are looking for an experienced Certification Technical Project Manager to support certification projects in the context of Research & Development related to Wind Turbine under IECRE and regional (e.g., CE-Marking, UL, CSA, and others) requirements.

Successful candidates will have a passion for renewable energy and a sense of importance in leading the change. Key qualifications include:

  • A BSc or MSc in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with certification of product or component.
  • Knowledge on project management tools.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, team management, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.

Preferably, successful candidates will have previously worked or currently working in the wind industry, oil and gas, automotive, or aeronautics for at least 3 years as an engineer. Actual experience in the wind industry is preferable.

As a highly pragmatic, committed, and resolutive person with experience in leading and managing multicultural and diverse teams, you will be driven by client, quality, and delivery-oriented goals. Excellent driving and communication skills are expected, as well as capabilities for agreements facilitation, motivation to drive technical issues until their solution, pro-activeness, and analytical logical thinking. Experience in mechanical design processes, virtual product management, system engineering, and risk management is also preferred.
