Come and be a part of Veo Technologies, a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator.
We're democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.
As a student assistant in Veo's AI team, you'll collaborate with skilled and experienced full-time ML researchers and engineers while taking responsibility for your projects. You'll never be left alone but get good support from the rest of the team when facing challenges.
This creates a suitable environment for a student worker to develop new skills technologically, theoretically, and operation-wise. Your primary tasks will include:
- Developing machine learning models from scratch.
- Improving existing models and applying them to new data.
- Acquiring knowledge of innovative research within different machine-learning areas.
- Suggesting projects and goals.
- Making further explorations on machine learning in sports environments.
- Conducting data analysis.
- Using standard software practices to improve development and machine learning operations.
You should have a good theoretical foundation in machine learning and computer vision, as well as comprehensive skills in Python and machine learning libraries. Experience with classic software development concepts like git, servers, GPUs, and cloud services is also expected.
In return, you'll enjoy a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement. Our rapid growth ensures a diverse and ever-changing atmosphere. We believe in work-life balance and providing a positive culture that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.
The salary for this role is approximately €20-25 per hour, considering the location and the level of expertise required. This is a great opportunity to grow with our company and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the sports industry.
We value diversity and inclusion, and we welcome people from all backgrounds. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.
