About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our team at Inpay A/S in Copenhagen. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our internal backoffice platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Research and Analysis: Conduct research, interviews, and testing with internal stakeholders to gather insights and understand their needs, pain points, and workflow requirements.
  • Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop prototypes and mock-ups that illustrate UI elements, interactions, and navigation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product managers across squads to define design requirements. Collaborate with developers across squads to ensure the feasibility of designs and to provide clear design specifications and assets.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct usability testing to validate design solutions and gather user feedback. Iterate on designs based on test results to enhance user experience and address usability issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with a focus on internal tools or complex systems.
  • Experience designing for B2B payments applications or internal systems in a payments/fintech environment will be considered as a distinct advantage.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work for web applications, highlighting your process, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Knowledge of agile development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
