Business Designer with UI/UX focus for Digital Products

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Designer to join our team that owns both Nordea's intranet and corporate website, Nordea.com. In this role, you will blend business strategy with user-centered design, ensuring that our digital products meet both business objectives and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • User research: Conduct User Experience (UX) research to understand user behaviors, needs and pain points, utilizing methods such as user interviews, surveys and usability testing.
  • UX/UI design: Translate research insights into intuitive and visually compelling designs, including wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Business Strategy Alignment: Work closely with product owners, website managers, stakeholders, and developers to align design solutions with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
  • Workshops and Facilitation: Lead design workshops and co-creation sessions with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • User Journey Mapping: Develop user journey maps and service blueprints to visualize end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role for more than 5 years.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD. Strong skills in UX research methodologies and techniques. Analytics experience preferably using Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Strategy: Experience aligning design initiatives with business strategies and KPIs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Certifications and portfolio: Relevant certifications or portfolio of past projects in UX design, business design or related fields are a plus.
