Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive payroll strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  2. Lead a team of payroll specialists to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
  3. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  4. Design and implement processes to streamline payroll operations, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to employee inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  6. Communicate changes in policies or procedures to affected stakeholders, ensuring seamless implementation.
  7. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance overall performance.
  8. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, including documentation of employee absences and leaves.
  9. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing social security coverage for international employees.
  10. Participate in cross-functional projects to develop and implement new initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations, particularly in Denmark.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising payroll staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in written and verbal Danish and English.
