Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Packaging Engineer to join our Material Manufacturing Development (ManDev) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing primary packaging materials and components for oral pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing primary packaging materials and components, including foils, blister packs, and bulk containers.
- Collaborating with R&D, QA, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth implementation of new primary packaging materials.
- Conducting lifecycle management activities of primary packaging materials for commercial products.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in engineering, material science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in primary packaging development or maintenance for pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively across functions and departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential issues.
About Our Department
The Material Manufacturing Development (ManDev) department is part of Novo Nordisk's Product Supply Sourcing Operations. Our team consists of over 100 employees organized into four departments, each focusing on different aspects of product development and manufacturing. We are responsible for developing and implementing complex materials from development to production and maintain documentation on existing materials.
