About the Job:
Elevate Saxo's public relations efforts with a dynamic senior leader as the Global Head of Corporate Communications, PR, and Organic Social Media. This role involves shaping global PR strategies, driving earned media across traditional and social channels, guiding Executive Team members, and navigating critical communication matters to enhance Saxo's reputation and support business objectives.
As the head of the Communications team, you will lead high-performing professionals, oversee local PR agencies, and manage various functions, including inbound and outbound PR, crisis communication, corporate communications, media queries, organic social media, ghostwriting, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with C-suite executives to provide strategic communications advice and support business objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive crisis communication strategy to ensure rapid response and consistent messaging during critical situations.
- Promote Saxo's executives as industry experts and increase brand recognition in the market.
- Mentor a talented team, fostering high performance, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that aligns with marketing efforts, driving earned media to boost website traffic, generate leads, reduce client acquisition costs, and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing production, paid media, strategy, legal, compliance, and local offices to ensure PR initiatives are fully aligned with product launches, regulatory requirements, and regional strategies.
- Establish clear KPIs for PR and social media efforts, track key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimisation.
Your Profile:
We expect 7-10 years of experience in PR and communications, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position, ideally within financial services, fintech, or investment management. A proven ability to lead a high-performing team and manage a network of PR agencies is required. Similar expertise from an agency or media role is also acceptable.
You must have significant experience working with C-suite executives on crisis communication, including high-stakes regulatory issues, while possessing a strong commercial focus. You should be able to develop PR strategies that support commercial KPIs, such as increasing traffic, generating leads, and driving revenue.
A keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish are essential. You are a collaborative, results-oriented professional who can thrive in dynamic environments and adapt quickly to evolving market conditions and business priorities.
