We are currently seeking a pre-clinical and translational PK/PD modeling expert to join our Pharmacometrics Department. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to advancing drug candidates across our portfolio, focusing on early and translational phases.
Your primary responsibility will be designing and performing drug discovery- and translational PK/PD modeling analyses to support project decision-making and maximize the utility of translational modeling at Ascendis Pharma. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, engaging in project teams to design programs and studies, and collaborating with internal and external functional experts.
To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant academic degree (preferably PhD) within pharmaceutical/pharmacokinetic/biological/mathematical science and 3+ years of experience within PK/PD modeling. Hands-on experience and strong programming skills in NONMEM and R language, as well as experience with MIDD and developing models for new target areas, are highly valued.
An entrepreneurial mindset, high proactivity, analytical skills, and mathematical background are essential. Ability to interpret, summarize, present, and communicate efficiently with scientists from other disciplines is necessary.
