About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Platform team at Databricks. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality products and features that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other products and services
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure high technical standards and engineering excellence
  • Work with engineering and product leadership to build a long-term roadmap for the Platform team
  • Coordinate execution and collaborate across teams to unblock cross-cutting projects
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in leading engineering teams, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and features on time and on budget
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and services such as AWS and Azure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
