Transforming Renewable Energy with Excellence

Siemens Gamesa is a pioneer in renewable energy, and we're looking for a skilled Operations Excellence Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Service Offshore team, you'll play a crucial role in driving operational improvements and ensuring our operations are efficient and effective.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Scoping, planning, and delivering operational improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Coordinating with the Operational Excellence team to drive standardization and embed a continuous improvement culture within Offshore NE&ME
  • Advising and guiding site-based operational teams on implementing standardized daily working procedures
  • Preparing and leading workshops to support effective communication and problem-solving processes
  • Coordinating and implementing operational and technical improvements in conjunction with Global functions to facilitate digital transformation within the service region
  • Driving data analytics and management reporting to support decision-making
  • Supporting the development and operational translation of Key Performance Indicators into action-centered responses

What We're Looking For

As a successful candidate, you'll have:

  • A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change to a greener future
  • Several years of experience in a project environment
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience and/or exposure to Lean Six Sigma/Project Management methodology and tools
  • A technically biased background and familiarity with at least one of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy's wind turbine products (ideally)
  • Experience in managing and developing strong, trustful relationships with customers and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Fluency in English, both orally and in writing (German desirable)
  • A positive attitude towards challenges and change management
  • The ability to promote an idea/concept and influence others
  • The ability to analyze and translate data-based facts into operational improvements
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload and priorities
  • A drive and passion for improvement and the ability to spot opportunities to achieve this
