We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacokineticist to join our team at Lundbeck, contributing to the success of our research and development projects.
About the Team
PK/PD Modelling & Simulation is a part of the Experimental Medicine organization, responsible for the clinical part of the translational space between research and development, including biomarker development.
About the Position
As a Pharmacokineticist, you will contribute to Lundbeck research and development projects, including the design and data analysis/interpretation of pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) aspects of preclinical and clinical studies, with a focus on the clinical part.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and data analysis/interpretation of PK and PD aspects of preclinical and clinical studies, with a focus on the clinical part.
- Be instrumental in the strategic design of the PK/PD plan, ensuring PK can support the plan and selecting the best and most relevant PK/PD analyses for the overall clinical development plan.
- Represent the department in cross-functional teams, including responsibility for PK/PD input to global clinical development plans.
- Write scientific reports and prepare documents for PK/PD-related sections in Investigator Brochures, study reports, manuscripts, summaries for regulatory authorities, INDs, and BLAs.
- Interpret preclinical PK data to inform human dose projections.
Your Qualifications
- BS or MS (at least 2-3 years of experience from industry) or PhD, in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical science, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or related disciplines.
- A basic physiological understanding to facilitate collaborations with clinical colleagues.
- Solid research background and interest in understanding PK data in the context of complex biology.
- Working knowledge of PK/PD software (e.g., WinNonlin, NONMEM, R, MATLAB, etc.).
- Proven ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
- Skilled in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals.
- Scientifically minded, curious, and with an innovative mindset.
