Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Operations Excellence Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Excellence Professional to join our Service Offshore team in the Northern Europe & Middle East (NE&ME) region.

As a key member of our team, you will work alongside other central-reporting operational excellence professionals to ensure our operations continually focus on improvements.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Scoping, planning, and delivery of operational improvement projects under a Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Driving standardisation and embedding a continuous improvement culture within Offshore NE&ME.
  • Advising, guiding, and supporting site-based operational teams on implementing standardised daily working procedures.
  • Preparing and leading workshops to support effective communication and problem-solving processes.
  • Coordinating and implementing operational and technical improvements in conjunction with Global functions to facilitate the digital transformation within the service region.
  • Driving data analytics and management reporting to support decision making.
  • Supporting the development and operational translation of Key Performance Indicators into action-centred responses.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Some years of working experience in a project environment.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience and/or exposure to Lean Six Sigma/Project Management methodology and tools.
  • Ideally, you will have a technically biased background and familiarity with at least one of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy's wind turbine products.
  • Experience in managing and developing strong and trustful relationships with customers and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English both orally and in writing is mandatory, German would also be desirable.
  • A positive attitude towards challenges and change management.
  • The ability to promote an idea/concept and influence others.
  • The ability to analyse and translate data-based facts into operational improvements.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload and priorities.
  • A drive and passion for improvement and the ability to spot opportunities to achieve this.
